Fun place! Great little spot. Breakfast and brunch tacos with a Caesar and coffee with a nip in it. Alyssa provided energy, charm and an infectious smile. Team service from start to fin. Parking around the corner Colourful and light. Try the chorizo taco and side of roasted potatoes. Perfectly spiced and served hot. Great date spot and highly recommended.
They were busy on the patio but still tried to get us a seat outside, then were obliging when we changed our mind to sit inside. Philip, our waiter was SO GREAT: friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being annoying(that is a skill!). The food was delicious. My friend that ordered the calamari said it was the best she had ever had. The taco selection was varying and interesting, and also scrumptious. Drinks menu is FUN! All in all a wonderful evening out!
Great gluten free Mexican food. We stopped in to wait out rush hour back to Toronto. Service very friendly and speedy, and surprised us with some wings which had been unavailable at time of ordering. We’re already planning our return visit so we can sample the extensive drinks menu.
Tried for the first time with a friend, and was pleasantly surprised! Servers are very friendly, bring some water right away. Gluten free and peanut free facilities which is nice for those that needed it, and have options to make dishes vegan for people. Quantities are a fair size, they could be bigger given the size of the tacos but the quality of the tacos are fantastic. Really tasty and fresh, I tried the jalapeno fried chicken and fish tacos and both were delicious. Nice flavours and textures, and the tortillas do not fall apart as you eat them, I can't stress how big that is! Will be back again
We visited this restaurant for dinner on a Sunday night and had an enjoyable experience. Each taco was priced at 7 and, while the portion sizes were on the smaller side, the flavors more than made up for it. We sampled a variety from the menu, including the Cease & Desist taco, the Habanero Brisket, the Salty Pig, and the Chorizo taco from the new menu—all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. The margaritas had a pleasantly sour kick and paired well with the meal. The ambiance was casual yet inviting, making it a great spot to visit occasionally for a relaxed evening. The restrooms featured walls covered in creative writings, adding a quirky and interesting touch to the overall experience. The establishment was clean, and our server was both attentive and friendly, enhancing the quality of service. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy good food and drinks in a laid-back setting.
I have nothing but good things to say about this location. From the food being great and the service we were provided with was even more exceptional. When visiting this location we were served by Makayla, she is one of the best servers we’ve come across in a long time. She didn’t hover, but always made sure that we were satisfied and enjoying our meal. We feel so safe visiting the Mule since my sister is Celiac. There is no worry whatsoever that she is going to come across contamination at any point. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants to experience a great atmosphere with even better drinks and food. Easily 5 stars
I've come here several times already with various people. They always use the freshest ingredients and everything is delicious! The tacos in this photo are The O.G. and Habanero Brisket. The service is always excellent. This is easily one of our favourite restaurants in town. I took my son here and he couldn't stop talking about the art on the walls. I didn't need to occupy him with anything else because he had enough to look at and talk about so it's definitely kid-friendly. Whether you are looking for a date night spot, family lunch, or any occasion, I highly recommend The Mule!
Excellent tacos! Had the Cauliflower, Fish and Chicken Achiote tacos. Tasty and flavourful. Also had the Bang Bang fried chicken appetizer, which was very good to start. I like the variety of tacos you can choose, and being picky, I also requested to hold certain sauces. I got everything perfect the way I ordered! Great patio to enjoy for a street festival in downtown Cambridge. Highly recommend this place.
